The time has come for the annual Founding Festival. The streets of Myddul are decorated, soon to be lined by crowds of people from all over Mydreign. There will be food and drink, from a variety of places including the Boiled Goat and Mikan’s Juicery. There will be music, dancing, games, and more, all throughout the city.

So come along and celebrate the anniversary of Myddul’s founding. We’d love to see you there!

A year has passed by, and now it's time for our yearly Eruption Feast.

The whole of Myddul is invited to participate in our celebration!

For those who are not a part of our Fangans, the Eruption Feast is a new year celebration where people from all over the Lizard's Fangs and guests from the outside world gather at the foot of Mount Incisor to celebrate our culture, family, friendships, and our goddess Lavata.

This year's festivity will begin with a reception and a feast in front of this year’s offering from the Tokay Village. Once the sun hits high noon, our Goddess shall make an appearance and the worshipping ceremony shall begin.

Will this be a good year for harvest? Will there be a placate to the volcanic eruptions? Will the goddess accept our offerings?

As Lux City’s game centres grow in popularity, I am encountering more and more travelers attempting to make the journey to Lux City without being aware of the dangers. Just last week I encountered a pair on the verge of passing out from heat exhaustion, followed by an elderly Mydlin using their cane to battle off a pack of sandeaters. If you insist on making the journey without a guide, please come prepared.

I will be hosting a small survival skills session on how to navigate the Sunshade Desert, during both night and day. This will take place in Eagle Rock. I will be sharing stories I’ve experienced in my many travels through the desert, as well passing on guidance I’ve received from wizened shadecrawler guides.

Yes, I appreciate the irony of holding a desert survival skills session in the middle of the desert, but practical experience is key. No, I will not be offering guides there. There are many Shadecrawlers who will offer guided tours to Eagle Rock, I recommend them.

The Council of Life would like to invite all to the celebrations of the Day of Life, an important upcoming festivity in the Desert, happening in a few weeks' time. We are excited to soon celebrate the coming of the Desert Rain - the first in almost a decade. Though the ritual will start in Lux City, visitors to the Temple of Life at any time are welcome.
