Session 5 News

Please do NOT approach the mysterious blue beam of light that has spontaneously appeared in the Sunshade Desert until the professionals have had time to scout it out. We do NOT need a repeat of the Castle Sewer Incident.

As attacks on Myddul’s farmers and walls grow more frequent by the day, efforts are being taken to amass an army capable of fighting back. While recruitment was originally aimed only at displaced farmers, people of all kinds are now being asked to join the cause.

Among this chaos, rumours spread of a revolt amongst the Nobility. The Monarch has not shown themselves to the public for the last few days, and a noble by the name of Roses, a former salon owner, has been witnessed leading several politically relevant tasks.

Only time will tell what shall emerge from this perilous situation.

The City of Myddul stepping up its defences. The newly formed farmer guard corp and navy are being deployed to fight against the monsters attacking our beloved City. Captain Bread and Captain Heski are bravely fighting for the future of Mydreign.

“Didya hear that the Head Librarian from the Grand Academy was seen near the Deep Woods recently?”
“Really? Why would he be here?”
“Well, according to Appul–”
*sigh*
“He tells the truth some of the time. Anyway, according to Appul, he was here looking for a book. But he brought some guards as well.”

Funn’s Target Takedown is back! Try your hand! Throw the balls! Knock down the targets!

Funn’s Target Takedown can be found in the Market in Myddul. Funn asks that you please do not steal the balls.

An official announcement.

To mention the elephant in the room, the sun is no longer in the room. I’m sure lots of heroic people are working to try and make this better, but until then we need to make do. Fun fact! Capybaras are crepuscular animals, which means that we’re active during dusk and dawn when it starts getting dark. So we’re used to a bit of darkness, and I’m hoping to open up a space where I can share the tips I’ve learned as well as allowing anyone else to share any tips they might have.

I plan to gather in Secha town where a few lamps have been set up, so do come along! Together, we can all be a little bit less scared of what’s going on.

Instead of the usual posters advertising Khashi Kno’s services, there are posters letting readers know that Lux City’s doors are open to those in need of warmth in these cold, dark times. Games are still available to warm up the soul.

A hurriedly scrawled note.

We know something about Quills and the Grand Regent. Meet us at the Festival of Knowledge.
