It's a newspaper article, describing the trial of Pashi Ta

The trial was a long and arduous process. The reformed Myddul goverment had also changed the legal system, and they were making sure to use Pashi as an exemplar for how a case should be handled. That, coupled with Pashi admitting to crimes which also affect the Heartwood and Sea of Light meant that their leaders were also invited to have their role in the process. Once the trial proceedings formally began, it took a few weeks to finally reach an outcome. Surprisingly long considering Pashi had confessed to everything and given her motive at the first opportunity. She claimed she wished to accelerate the prophecy so that the Hero would be unable to help, therefore making each citizen of Mydreign no longer bound to the prophecy of their Role and free to live how they like. She recognised that much pain and suffering happened as the direct result of her actions, but she stands that she would do it a thousand times over knowing it helped some people break free from their Roles. Some members of the public audience vocally supported Pashi, whereas other would shout curses and reminders about the damage she inflicted on Mydreign. The following weeks after her confession were victim impact statements. Everyone who wished to speak about how Pashi's actions impacted them, negatively or positively, was allowed to do so. Most accounts were negative. After everyone spoke, the judge and leaders of Myddul, the Heartwood, and Sea of Light had a meeting to decide on the punishment. When they returned to the trial, the crowd all rose to hear their judgement.

“Per her confession, we hereby find Pashi guilty on all accounts accused to her in this trial. Due to fact that so many people were affected by Pashi's actions, and her actions affected multiple regions, we have decided that there is no precedent for her actions, and thus no precedent for her punishment. Nonetheless, we have deliberated and believed we have come to the only fair conclusion. We hereby sentence Pashi Ta to–”

The newspaper article cuts of there. It seems like it's been torn, presumably by someone unhappy with the punishment.

One day, the Guide would begin the walk to Khashi Kno's Entertainment Complex from Myddul. He wouldn't make it there though. They had done this hike so many times in their life, it was inconceivable to him that one day he wouldn't finish it. Sure, they had been getting slower over the years, but he couldn't expect to go as fast as he did in his glory days. It was when they passed by the tree where his father had died that he knew he wasn't finishing this journey. They didn't mind though. It was a nice place to rest. They sat down and rested against the tree. It was a tall oak tree, standing slightly taller than the other trees nearby. In truth, it was a bit of a detour to the Entertainment Complex, but he could never make himself take the short route. The Guide would take a final glance at his cane as he left it on the ground. Reminds him of that lovely gift. One last smile. They hope Midsummer is doing well, he should have everything covered on the guiding front. A cough. And all the other lovely people the Guide met as well, he cannot help but be proud in his last moments of what they've all accomplished. They rest happy.

“Long time no see, Pa.”

“Hey boss, what do we do now?”

“I don't know boss, I feel like we've kinda won the coaster business.”

“We sold two coasters boss.”

“I know boss but that's all we had.”

“Yeah you're right boss, it does kinda feel like we beat the coaster game.”

“… You know what I'm thinking boss?”

“New Game Plus boss?”

“New Game Plus.”

Tricky and Shiny sneak into Rute's house to steal some coasters.
